One Good Room

I was looking for descriptions of a "Good Room" while I was working on this talk. I found Edith Wharton's first sentence in her work The Decoration of Houses. She states, "Rooms may be decorated in two ways: by a superficial application of ornament totally independent of structure, or by means of those architectural features which are part of the organism of every house, inside and out." This is the manifestation of this premise-her beautiful home
The Mount in Lenox. Mass.
