building lightly on the earth

I am very enamored with the work of Richard Tuttle these days. Part intellectual puzzle, part Montessori art project. The temporary quality and the amount of choreography that goes into the pieces is quite fine.

Tuttle has provided me with much inspiration--the lightness and seeing of what else things can be. Sometimes I forget to look at his work when I'm stuck (appropriate somehow). Thanks for reminding me!

You must see "Herb and Dorothy". Tuttle chats about them/with them in his oh so serene studio and shows them watercolors....so cool, perhaps better than sneak into Judd's studio. Also the cat is awesome-
